White-supremacist sympathizer and insurrection promoter Steve Bannon has been held in contempt of Congress by a bipartisan vote on the House floor.

Friend,

White-supremacist sympathizer and insurrection promoter Steve Bannon has been held in contempt of Congress by a bipartisan vote on the House floor.

So what happens next?

Right now the ball is in Merrick Garland’s court. It’s up to the Attorney General and the Department of Justice to prosecute Bannon and force him to submit all evidence requested by the select committee. But before the Congressional Judiciary Committee today, Garland refused to guarantee that his DoJ would prosecute. For now, we have to trust that Garland was exercising discretion in the interest of making the strongest case possible against Bannon, but we aren’t taking any chances.

Every single member of The 147, every single member of Congress, who voted to give Steve Bannon a pass for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena voted to sweep January 6th under the rug. Donate now to help us VOTE THEM OUT.

Insurrection must have consequences.
