ADD YOUR NAME: Tell Congress to Invest in Care Workers

SIGN NOW ([link removed])

I have been advocating for greater investments in child care and more support for care workers since before I was elected to Congress. That’s why I’m so excited to join my friend and colleague Rep. Nikema Williams and Care in Action in calling for Congress to include a historic investment in care workers as part of the Build Back Better Agenda. If you agree that this needs to be a priority, will you stand with us by adding your name right away?

The COVID pandemic has made clear what we’ve known for years — care workers are crucial to our communities. A significant investment in-home and community-based services — or HCBS — would not only support care workers, most of whom are women of color and immigrant women, but would create 1.1 million new jobs each year over the next decade. Investments in care cannot wait.

That’s why I’m asking you to sign our petition right away to make sure all my colleagues in Congress know that this is an urgent issue with massive grassroots support.
