GOP Governors Take Action

In response to President Biden's planned vaccine mandate for
businesses with more than 100 employees, several Republican governors
announced their intentions to fight back in court and through
legislation.

* Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt released a video statement last week,
during which he blasted

President Biden's mandate as an unconstitutional overreach of federal
power and announced that his state will take legal action against it:

"I

**'ve talked about this with our Attorney General, John O'Connor.
And I know he's on our side. He's ready to take President Biden to
court the second the rules are made public."**

* Wyoming, under Republican Gov. Mark Gordon, is also preparing

to take legal action once the president's planned vaccine mandate is
finalized:

**"We are prepared to act promptly once these mandates are finally
issued. Wyoming will not stand idly by to see any erosion of the
constitutional rights afforded our citizens and their industries."**

* Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, one of the most consistently vocal critics
of COVID-19 restrictions, said

that he will challenge President Biden's mandate both in court and
through legislation:

**"Let's not have Biden come in and effectively take away - threaten
to take away - the jobs of people who have been working hard
throughout this entire pandemic. I am offended that a police officer
could potentially lose their job."**

As the White House pushes forward with its plan to force private
businesses to require vaccination, Republican governors recognize just
how serious this unconstitutional expansion of federal authority is and
are taking swift action.

U.S. Economic Outlook Worsens Under Democrats

While the Biden Administration pushes forward with its radical spending
plan, increasing consumer prices due to inflation and massive supply
chain issues are threatening Americans' upcoming holiday season.
Meanwhile, White House officials have only deflected and excused the
current economic issues as more Americans struggle.

* White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the quiet part out loud
last week, openly admitting

during a press briefing that President Biden wants to use the turmoil
created by the COVID-19 pandemic to radically reshape the U.S. economy:

**"The president wants to make fundamental change in our economy, and
he feels coming out of the pandemic is exactly the time to do
that." **

* As the Biden Administration continues to negotiate with Congressional
Democrats to pass trillions of dollars in new spending, consumer prices
have not stopped rising across the board. CNBC reports
:

**"The consumer price index for all items rose 0.4% for the month,
compared with the 0.3% Dow Jones estimate. On a year-over-year basis,
prices increased 5.4% versus the estimate for 5.3% and the highest since
January 1991. "**

* More and more Americans are struggling to afford food, gasoline, and
housing, but White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain thinks

inflation is merely a 'high class problem'. The top White House
official retweeted this

insensitive and false Twitter post from Harvard professor Jason Furman
last week:

**"Most of the economic problems we're facing (inflation, supply
chains, etc.) are high class problems."**

With the Biden Administration both ignoring and downplaying the threat
posed by inflation and supply problems in their push to "fundamentally
change" the economy, the current economic issues will likely only get
worse as the holiday season approaches.

Gov. DeSantis Is Saving Christmas

California and the Biden Administration are failing to handle mounting
supply issues that are resulting in empty shelves and higher costs for
Americans, but Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has a solution
.

* The Republican governor announced that his state's ports have both
the capacity and the staffing to reduce the nationwide supply chain
disruptions:

**"We in Florida have the ability to help alleviate these logjams and
ameliorate these problems with the supply chain."**

* As the busy holiday season approaches, Gov. DeSantis understands how
worried Americans are about shortages in stores and assured them that
his state is more than capable of fixing the supply issues:

**"We are going to make sure Americans get their Christmas gifts this
season."**

Once again, Republican governors are stepping up where Democrat leaders
have failed.
