Tomorrow, President Trump is coming to Chicago for the first time since his election to curry favor with and raise money from high-dollar donors to help fill his 2020 campaign coffers.
In Chicago, a majority of voters oppose President Trump -- and it’s no surprise given how often he slams this great city and uses the people who live here as scapegoats. But that won’t stop him from hobnobbing with his wealthy supporters and raising piles of money for his reelection.
That’s why we need grassroots supporters like you standing with us in this fight. We don’t have unlimited amounts of money coming in from mega-millionaires and corporate interests, but we have something even better: regular people standing together and fighting for our future.
And together, we’ll defeat the GOP in 2020 and elect a majority that will fight for our families on urgent issues like affordable health care, climate change, and commonsense gun reform.
