Municipal Election Day is less than 2 weeks away! And many voters are already voting early – in person and by mail.
If you’re a voter in one of the five Ranked Choice Voting cities and haven’t yet voted, here is a link to resources [[link removed]] to vote early and on Election Day.
We need to ensure all RCV voters are educated and that the ranked-choice elections in Bloomington, Minneapolis, Minnetonka, St. Louis Park and St. Paul are, once again, successful and go as smoothly as possible.
As we head into the final days of the election season, we still have a few paid canvass positions we want to fill (click here for details and to apply) [[link removed]] AND we organizing two critical voter education events and need volunteers!
Oct. 30 Day of Action!
First, we are hosting a Rank Your Vote Day of Action on Saturday, Oct. 30th. We need volunteers to door knock and reach out to voters in the cities using RCV and make sure they vote and know how to rank their vote! Please sign up for one of our shifts here . [[link removed]] We need all hands on deck to encourage voters to take part in their local elections and use the full power of RCV!

For those of you unable to travel or unable to door knock for whatever reason, you can still help! Help us reach and educate voters about RCV through our phone banks here. [[link removed]]
If you’ve never tried phone banking or door knocking, don’t worry — when you sign up to volunteer, you will receive training, a script and everything you need to make it easy! Since we are educating voters and providing them with the information they need to vote, most people are appreciative and open to receiving our assistance.
Election Day Blitz
Second, FairVote Minnesota is organizing a major get-out-the-vote effort on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 2 ! We need volunteers to help educate voters outside of polling locations in Minneapolis and answer any questions about RCV and how to rank their ballots. Of course, we will provide training, a voter education script and everything you need.
