Dear John,

I am excited to share that Learning for Justice is hosting a series of virtual professional development workshops starting in December and going into early 2022. The workshops are open to current K–12 classroom teachers, administrators and counselors, and for anyone who coaches classroom teachers and administrators.

Here’s a look at the workshops we’re planning:
  • Unpacking the Social Justice Standards — This interactive professional development will introduce participants to the Learning for Justice Social Justice Standards.
  • Let’s Talk! — Using the Let’s Talk! guide, this workshop will provide participants the opportunity to learn strategies for creating supportive learning environments that encourage risk-taking.
  • Speak Up at School — Become familiar with strategies that educators and students can use to interrupt bias and injustice instead of letting them go unaddressed.
  • Teaching Hard History — This workshop will provide participants the opportunity to explore the Teaching Hard History framework and learn strategies for implementation.
Check out the full workshop schedule here, and register now—space is limited!

Thanks for all you do for students.
