Friend,
The latest numbers from our top two target races are in — and they tell two very different stories.
Senator Ron Johnson in Wisconsin had a pretty underwhelming fundraising report, raising less than two of his Democratic challengers pulled in. He enters the fall with just $2.3 million in the bank. If you look up “vulnerable incumbent” in the dictionary, you might just see a picture of Ron Johnson.
We’re doubling down on our strategy in Wisconsin because we believe this is a race we can win, and we need to win races like this one to hold on to the Senate majority. Will you chip in to fund our work amplifying the voices of real voters in Wisconsin? [[link removed]]
Rep. Lauren Boebert in Colorado, on the other hand, raised nearly $850,000 in the last three months, a strong total for a House race.
Once again, we’re reminded of the ugly truth that the most outspoken supporters of the Jan. 6th attack are still being rewarded with boatloads of campaign cash. It’s shameful and horrifying, but it’s also the reason we signed up for this work — to take on and challenge the worst of the worst members of the Sedition Caucus.
We all know that the Republican Party isn’t going to shun people like Lauren Boebert, who egged on the rioters and put lives at risk that day by broadcasting the physical locations of her colleagues in Congress. So it’s up to us.
There’s a senator we can defeat in Wisconsin, and a House member in Colorado who deserves to get the fight of her political life. Will you chip in to support this work? [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Amy
