Do you support the bipartisan January 6th commission?

Team,

On January 6th, violent insurrectionists stormed our nation’s Capitol in an attempt to disrupt proceedings that are fundamental to our democracy. It was one of my very first days in Congress.

In the months since, the House has established a bipartisan commission to investigate the events of January 6th.

I’m working to reach across the aisle to enact common sense solutions to our nation's biggest problems. I believe if we want to make bipartisan progress to move this country forward, we must restore faith and trust in our political system by holding accountable those responsible for the events of January 6th.

But I want to hear from you, friends: Do you support the bipartisan January 6th commission?

YES

NO

I am concerned that this incident is only a small part of the larger pattern of radicalization in our country. We must do everything we can to restore faith in our democratic process and eliminate extremism from our politics.

So, friends, will you let me know if you support the bipartisan January 6th commission as the first step toward healing our nation?

Thank you for your input.
