Save Women’s Sports Bill Crosses Finish Line

After months of working non-stop to see the Save Women’s Sports bill, H.B. 25, move through the Texas Legislature, this past Sunday marked the day the hard work proved fruitful. The Texas House voted in favor of the Save Women’s Sports bill with a 76-61 vote. H.B. 25, authored by Rep. Valoree Swanson, protects young girls from being forced to compete with biological boys by introducing legislation that states a student’s birth certificate nearest at birth will decide if a student plays in girls' or boys' sports. H.B. 25 is now headed to Governor Abbott’s desk to be signed into Law. 

Voting On Texas Proposition 3: Religious Freedom

Voting season is upon us! Early voting started on October 18^th and ends October 29^th. Every registered Texan will receive a ballot of eight propositions including Texas Proposition 3, the religious freedom amendment on November 2, 2021.

If Proposition 3 passes, no state or political sector would legally be able to shut down churches, religious organizations, and places of worship to shut down. After what happened during the initial period of the Covid-19 pandemic, the outcome of the Proposition 3 vote carries weight because if passed, Proposition 3 would become an added section to Article 1 of the Texas Constitution.

Jonathan Saenz To Speak at 11th Annual "Life is Beautiful" Gala

Our very own Jonathan Saenz, will speak alongside Senator Donna Campbell, M.D. of District  25 at the St. John Paul II Life Center's 11th Annual Life is Beautiful Gala this coming Sunday night, October 24th, starting at 6pm.

St. John Paul II Life Center is a faith based nonprofit organization offering education programs, holistic OB-GYN care, and free pregnancy help services to expecting mothers. St. John Paul II Life Center holds a strong commitment to uphold the dignity of women and children through saving as many lives as possible. 

The event will include updates and discussion on the Texas Heartbeat Law, opportunities to support beautiful Texas mothers and babies and how to protect future babies and mothers by partnering with pro-life organizations, such as our own, Texas Values.
