Friend,
If you ask Google Maps how to get from Gwinnett County to the State Capitol on public transportation, it would take nearly three hours and two transfers. What do you think: is it time we change that?
The same route by car? 55 minutes.
Our local infrastructure is not working for us. Georgians have two options:
- Drive long commutes every day which can be expensive and bad for the environment.
- Suffer for hours every single day on lousy public transportation.
I am ready to take action. I am working with my colleagues in Congress to pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to invest in clean-energy public transportation for our communities. This will create jobs, combat the climate crisis, and allow Georgians to travel around our district and state without needing a car.
What do you think, friend? Are you ready to solve our public transportation crisis with a new investment in clean infrastructure?
Thank you,
Carolyn
