Hey John,
You read that subject line right. Think about how many people’s lives would be changed if you helped increase access to abortion on campus! Students need access to abortion care — that’s why dozens of students across the country are organizing now to make access easier. Want to join us?
Sign up for the Abortion On Campus Week of Action here. Students at 100 different campuses across America will table or host events the week of November 7th-14th, where they will educate their peers on how to get an abortion as a student, and take action to increase access.
Those who sign up by October 28th will receive:
- A large fill-in-the-blank poster describing where to have an abortion in your community
- Stickers to use as giveaways featuring abortion access artwork created by Abortion Out Loud youth activists, ages 16-21
- A toolkit to guide your fight to remove barriers to abortion access on campus
The week ends with National Health Center Call-In Day, where hundreds of students across the country will be calling their student health centers and demanding easier access to abortion services.
I don’t have to tell you that abortion access is under attack. Any time we’re confronted by the anxiety of yet another restriction, I feel that basic, elemental response: fight, flight, or freeze.
I urge you to fight. This action plan we’ve created is simple, it’s local, and it has a tangible impact on people’s lives. Ten years from now, you’re going to look back at this horrible time period in disgust. But what will you say you did about it? Did you freeze, cross your fingers and hope someone else (or the Supreme fricken Court) would save us? Or did you fight back?
Sign up to fight back here.
In solidarity,

P.S. Not a student, or know students at other schools who may be interested? Forward this email, or text them the link to the signup form. The more students participating, the more we can expand abortion acess for young people.
