Before the pandemic, Kentucky had some of the most restrictive election laws in the country -- making it almost impossible to vote early or by mail.
I worked hard in the state legislature to make sure Kentuckians had better voting opportunities and boosted voter access and election security in our state, building on a record-high voter turnout.
With so many Republican states moving in the wrong direction, we actually expanded voting rights in deep-red Kentucky. Now I’m ready to do the same in Washington. Will you pitch in to my campaign and stand with me as I fight for the protection and expansion of voting rights? [[link removed]]

I always say: Democrats can win everywhere, as long as we are willing to meet voters anywhere.
Right now we’ve got a crucial piece of voting rights legislation, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, that’s sitting idle in the Senate because the GOP doesn’t want to make voting more accessible if it means they lose.
Our democracy only works when everyone’s voice is heard. Exercising your right to vote is an inalienable right -- one I’m willing to fight for.
Will you join me in my mission to protect and expand voting rights by chipping in? [[link removed]]
