The WFP Assembly is an opportunity to join together, share our struggles, and renew our commitment to the fight. It's also an opportunity to meet grassroots people-powered candidates who are running for local, state, and federal office, in order to transform their communities.
Tonight's Assembly will feature three trailblazing candidates, who are each running historic candidacies in their own right.
We will hear from Maggie Toulouse Oliver, who is running to become the first woman Senator from New Mexico against an establishment democrat, Rachel Junck, who is an Iowa State University student running to be the youngest city council member in Ames, Iowa, and Chelsea Chism-Vargas, who is a 27-year old Latinx Planned Parenthood organizer running for city council in Des Moines, Iowa by reaching out to communities that have long been ignored from the entrenched incumbent she's challenging.
On the call we’ll share how you can get involved in these three critical races, in order to elect the next generation of progressive heroes who will fight for the many, not the few.
Can you join us for tonight's WFP Assembly at 8pm ET/5pm PT? All you need to join is a computer with internet or a phone.
See you there,
Team WFP
