From the beginning of her career, Carolyn has been a champion of women’s rights, breaking barriers like demanding maternity leave as a New York City Councilwoman. Since then, she’s fought for the Equal Rights Amendment, made strides in codifying reproductive freedom, and even pioneered the creation of the National Women’s History Museum.
