Folks, Republicans in Texas and Georgia are advancing their proposed maps for redistricting, and they’re even more brazen than we expected. We’re running out of time to fight back -- will you rush a contribution now to support the NDRC’s efforts to secure fair maps?

Here’s the problem: While both Texas and Georgia have become increasingly competitive at the statewide level, these new maps would guarantee Republicans an unfair balance of congressional seats in both states.

If these maps go into effect, Republicans could win more congressional races in Texas and Georgia even if Democratic candidates won more votes statewide!

Since Democrats currently hold the House of Representatives by such a narrow margin, these maps alone could swing the majority in Republicans’ favor. And, since these maps will remain in place for 10 years , they could help guarantee a GOP House majority for the next decade!

It’s now or never, John. Please, chip in whatever you can now to support the NDRC’s work to demand fair maps.
