John,

There are only 9 days until election day, and I am making sure that I get the most out of every day on the campaign. I have been hitting the trail hard to make sure that I get to every corner of the state to talk with folks about the issues they’re facing and how I can help. I wanted to share some of the highlights from the past couple of weeks with you.

At the beginning of last week, I got to speak with business leaders from southwest Mississippi in Natchez. My vision for economic development in our state starts with investing in workforce development and puts Mississippi businesses first.

More recently, I was able to speak with students at Tougaloo College about issues facing young folks in our state. This election is a chance to get our state moving in the right direction as we try to build a Mississippi that makes students want to stay here after they graduate.

As I travel across the state, I’m hearing similar messages from folks of all backgrounds. Mississippians have been struggling with the same things for too long -- roads and bridges that are falling apart, schools without the necessary resources, and hospitals that aren’t affordable or accessible.

I’m in this race so that I can build a future for Mississippi that will work for everyone. Over the next week and a half, I’m going to be working overtime to make sure that Mississippians know that I’m the candidate who will fight for them. If you can chip in anything -- even a dollar -- to help us finish strong, it’ll make a huge difference.

There are 9 days left in the campaign, and I need your help to make every one of them count.

Thank you.
