Here's the deal, John: we need to pass infrastructure now.

While Congress plays games with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and the Build Back Better Act, public school buildings in Philadelphia -- and so many other cities -- are crumbling. Our students are sent to school each day in facilities with water damage, asbestos, rodents, leaky roofs, and crumbling ceilings.

This is all the while some of Philly's neighborhoods are all but closed off from the rest of the city because of certain highways. These highways also bring traffic, noise, and air pollution along with it.

These issues are just two of many that plague Black and Brown Philadelphians disproportionately. And they're issues that don't get improved with infighting and division in Congress. Action must be taken.

This is our chance to secure an infrastructure plan that will create countless jobs, tackle the climate crisis and racial injustice, and build our country back better. I won't stop fighting until we get this plan across the finish line. Infrastructure revitalization benefits all Philadelphians -- especially the most marginalized.

I need your help, so please join me in this fight by calling on Congress to pass the infrastructure plan now >>

Thank you,

Dwight
