The Communications Workers of America is a large and diverse labor union that represents working people in telecommunications, customer service, media, airlines, health care, public service and education, manufacturing, tech, and much more. This powerful union has been an active voice in the fight to make sure every worker gets the proper safety protections that they deserve.
Jessica has always been pro-union and pro-labor. Unlike her opponent, Henry Cuellar, who is working to cater to the needs of big corporations over the safety and dignity of Texas workers. That’s why she is beyond proud to receive the CWA’s official endorsement and is even more fired up to unseat anti-union Democrat Henry Cuellar.

Henry Cuellar has a dark history of turning his back on laborers and unions. He was the ONLY Democrat to vote “NO” on the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act twice — a bill that seeks to expand workers’ rights and secure critical labor protections for workers all across this country.
He made it clear that he’d rather put the needs of big corporations over the safety and dignity of Texas workers. We absolutely cannot trust him to represent our best interests when he’s eager to please his corporate donors and special interest groups.
Cuellar already has a massive head start — he already has $2.21 million in the bank for his campaign. But unlike him, we made a promise as a campaign to never take a dime from corporate PACs or special interest groups — and we’re sticking to that promise.
