Dear John!
Today is the 43rd anniversary of the passage of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Act of 1978, which expanded and added important protective measures for Minnesota’s crown jewel. Today is also the first day of the public comment period [[link removed]] where Biden’s Administration is asking you to weigh in on the fate of the Boundary Waters.
You can honor this anniversary, and the legacy of Boundary Waters champions like former Vice President Walter Mondale by answering this call and taking action for the Boundary Waters right now. [[link removed]]

TAKE ACTION TODAY [[link removed]]With yesterday’s announcement from the Biden Administration, a study of sulfide-ore copper mining’s impacts on the Boundary Waters will be completed which could lead to a 20-year ban on mining in the watershed.
Plus, join us today virtually for a Zoom webinar at 11:30 a.m. CT. to get all the details about what the recent news means for the Boundary Waters! RSVP here. [[link removed]]
