It’s clear we’re already feeling the effects of a changing climate, and Delaware, in particular, is susceptible to more severe weather and rising sea levels.

Before we go on: Do you want to see crucial, substantial investments in our fight against the climate crisis as part of the Build Back Better plan?

Just this year, we’ve seen 18 natural disasters hit America -- each one has cost the United States at least $1 billion. From hurricanes to wildfires to flooding, no part of America is immune from the effects of climate change.

Inaction is no longer an option. Our future generations are counting on us to make substantial investments to combat global warming right now.

We have a short window of opportunity to slow the most drastic results of global warming, and if we take action right now to cut greenhouse gas emissions, future generations will have a chance to inhabit a world that looks like ours does today.

Do you think addressing the climate crisis should be included in the Build Back Better plan?
