Thanks good talk.
Hey John,

I don't know if you've ever been ghosted. I have. And it's not a great feeling. To open yourself up to someone and then just have them disappear. But you get over it in due time. This last week however, I was ghosted in the best way possible. I became an actual ghost!

If you haven't yet seen it, please check out my performance as 1930's Silent Film Star Oscar Anderson, who died in a fire and became a ghost haunting the Fox Theater. It's in the new Disney+ series "Just Beyond", episode 6 titled "We've Got Spirits, Yes We Do". I'm pretty proud of this little R.L. Stine horror comedy I got to be in. Directed by the director of the first two Spiderman's and 500 Days of Summer, Marc Webb. And even luckier I got to shoot it during a pandemic when acting work, along with ALL WORK ON EARTH was pretty hard to come by. But of course this business still has it's little indignities. Like, in the same week I was featured on the poster for the show, I was on a billboard in Time Square, I was the disney Snapchat filter for the show, and there was a big red carpet premiere for it, that I found out about on Instagram because I WASN'T INVITED!!! Unreal. And kinda funny. At the very least this business keeps you humble.

The best part of the experience was watching it for the first time with my Mad Ones! I did a special bonus hang for my Patrons, and we all got to watch it together. Pictures below. If you'd like to join my Patreon and be part of special moments like that, please check it out HERE. I'll be dropping some behind the scenes footage from it there soon too. You can also join us Mad Ones this Saturday at 5p/8e for our Mad Ones Town meeting/virtual comedy show on Zoom for the first time in a couple weeks, "GLEIB OFF THE TOP: Crowd Work and Improvised Madness". If you havent been, you'll love it. Get a ticket HERE.There's also a post-show VIP personal meet and greet you can get a ticket for.

And now to bouncing back. I got to have a very cool experience Sunday. I got to go with my dad to see the Rolling Stones in concert. It was the best show I've ever been to. The band suffered the loss of their drummer and friend Charlie Watts. But they kept going and put on one hell of a show. Mick Jagger is 78 but was somehow running sprints, getting on his knees and back up, and dancing hips and all for over two hours. It was amazing. (I will be showing some exclusive footage I shot there during this week's GLEIB OFF THE TOP btw!) But the most impressive thing I saw from an older man was from my amazing pop. He's 70 years old, but there's no way to tell. We were walking toward the gates and there was a weird curved curb that wasn't even painted and he fell. Hard. Like a sack of potatoes he fell down. 8 or 9 people immediately surrounded us to help him. But my dad bounced right back up! HE said "Thanks everyone, but I'm good!" And he walked right to the line for us to enter. I can barely get up from putting my dog's harness on. It was scary then immediately cool to see how strong he still is. Someone who saw it walked by and said to my dad "You're a rockstar!" That he is. (Pic below.)

Someone who is not a rockstar, but actually quite the opposite is right wing provocateur and anti-American asshole Charlie Kirk. If you missed it, I went to his studio in Phoenix to debate him on abortion. A meme from it called "Charlie Kirk Schooled on Abortion in 15 Seconds" went crazy viral this week. Ten million plus views. You can see it HERE. You can also watch the full debate on my Youtube where I school him like 100 more times, or you can listen to it on my podcast "Last Week on Earth" HERE. Please listen, rate and review!

Lastly, get your own personal ghost vibes goin (the good kind) by joining me virtually on Zoom on Saturday October 30 for my 2nd annual "GLEIB OFF THE TOP HalloWEED SpectaBOOLar"! There will also be a Costume Contest for prizes, lots of laughs, and maybe a couple little scares too! Get a ticket HERE.

See you Saturday!
