If we fall short and allow manipulated maps to go into effect, Democrats could lose the House of Representatives for the next 10 years. That means progress on critical issues like climate change, voting rights, reproductive freedom, and more would all be dead on arrival.
Luckily, the NDRC and its affiliates have a plan to fight back. We’re pushing for a transparent redistricting process, mobilizing communities to advocate for fair districts, and, where necessary, supporting voters in litigation to defend fair maps.
