John, Donald Trump is dangerous for our country.

When hundreds of white nationalists and neo-Nazis descended on Charlottesville in 2017, I went to work to defend our Commonwealth.

And what did Donald Trump do? He said there were “very fine people on both sides.”

John, I said this in 2017, and I’ll say this again: white supremacy is not welcome in Virginia. Not now, and not ever.

But if we elect Glenn Youngkin this November, we know he’ll follow in Donald Trump’s footsteps just like he’s done throughout his campaign. Trumpism is on the march and electing Youngkin would be a giant win for Donald Trump.

Being governor of the Commonwealth means being a leader. It means standing up for what’s right — like I did with Donald Trump in Charlottesville.

It means appealing to the best of Virginians — not exploiting our differences and stoking division.

At a rally last week, Trump said he could count on Youngkin to “do all the things we want a governor to do.”

I don’t know about you, John, but I think Virginians want a governor who is willing to stand up for what’s right, make tough decisions that benefit all Virginians, and vigorously defend our progress.
