The holiday season is just around the corner, and it’s truly the best time of the year.

It’s a time for family, fellowship, thankfulness, and reflecting on the blessings of life. It’s a time to remember the most important gift of all – the gift of our Savior, who was born that Holy night in Bethlehem.

But in all the excitement, anticipation, and rush of the holiday season, it can be easy to forget that for some families, the holidays only amplify the challenges in their life. And instead of being a time of joy, it can be a time of stress, disappointment, and heartache.

This is the case for many of the families served by Human Coalition through your support.

For so many, there isn’t a big family gathering to look forward to. There aren’t plans for a Thanksgiving turkey or presents under the Christmas tree. They don’t have a church home to attend service on Christmas Eve. And even if they’ve chosen life for their child, they still have difficult circumstances and needs – especially this time of year.

That’s why Human Coalition created Holiday Connections.

Through Holiday Connections, pro-life champions like YOU have the chance to adopt one of the families in Human Coalition’s Continuum of Care program and help meet their needs over the holiday season. Those who participate can provide families with Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, Christmas gifts, and even invite them to church.

So far, there are nearly 100 families in the Continuum of Care program who have expressed interest. Each one of these families were once in a state of crisis and seeking an abortion – but have now chosen life for their children. Some of the moms are still pregnant and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their precious baby!

While many supporters have already volunteered to help these families, we still need more to ensure each family is connected to a volunteer.

Over the years, God has used Holiday Connections to create lifelong friendships, provide mentors to those who need extra support, and share the Gospel to families who don’t know the true meaning of Christmas.
