Hey John -
Less than two weeks left, everyone. Polls are showing that the race between McAuliffe and Youngkin is essentially a tie. Let’s get out there and make sure Virginia stays BLUE! We have a bunch of volunteer opportunities coming up, so please join us to help get out the vote. This Thursday, October 21st at 6pm we have our AYD Halloween Phone Bank (costumes are encouraged but not required). On Saturday, October 23rd at 8:45am, join us for an AYD Canvass for Joshua Cole down in Stafford, VA. Remember to log your canvassing activities!
Also, you can still buy tickets for the Arlington Dems Golden Gala, happening this Saturday at 7pm! To round out this week, we will also have an opportunity to canvass in South Arlington this Sunday, October 24th at noon. Make sure to check out the Arlington Dems AAPI Caucus Diwali Celebration afterward!
Finally, if you would be interested in joining a potential overnight canvass down to Richmond on October 30th-31st, please fill out this interest form as soon as possible!

Your feedback will help inform the creation of a draft “trust policy” and draft action agenda regarding the immigrant community and the County’s relationship to/with ICE and federal immigration services.
