As Democrats in the Senate and the House come closer to making a deal on the Build Back Better package (which the media is calling “the reconciliation bill”) reporters have focused on the topline amounts and the negotiations in Congress without ever answering the question that will actually make a difference in people’s lives: What’s in the damn bill?
