deserve more than “crumbs.” We need solutions that match the historic,
urgent crises working people in America face right now.

It seems like the expectation from conservative Democrats like Joe Manchin
and Kyrsten Sinema is that people should be grateful to receive whatever
Congress decides to pass.

Apparently we have billions to add to our defense budget – but passing
meaningful legislation that would help working families is a stretch.

Here in St. Louis we know that Congress only delivering “crumbs” is the
reason why our communities have been struggling for years. It’s why
families are struggling to keep their homes, children are going to bed
hungry, and why folks are going bankrupt because they can’t afford their
health care bills.

Cori didn’t come to Congress to sit back and accept those crumbs. [ [link removed] ]If
