[ [link removed] ]Katie Porter for Congress

John,

Working people make their voices heard when they vote. But Republican
politicians and the special interests who back them are drowning out the
voices of families by restricting voting rights.

Today, the Senate had the chance to pass the Freedom to Vote Act. But
every Republican voted against this bill, preventing it from becoming law.
The Freedom to Vote Act would have:

* Made Election Day a public holiday
* Simplified voter registration
* Expanded mail-in voting across the country
* Increased the security of voting systems
* Reduced partisan gerrymandering
* Increased transparency on political donations

Republican politicians and their special interest backers are
intentionally making it more difficult to vote. And as it looks less
likely that we’ll be able to pass meaningful voting rights legislation
ahead of our next election, [ [link removed] ]I’m asking if you can make a contribution
today that will help our campaign increase voter registration efforts and
ensure voters have the information they need to make their voices heard.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your
