Last month, I introduced the Freedom to Vote Act in the Senate — a critical piece of legislation I worked on with my colleagues to ensure we continue to have free and fair elections in this country.
It just came up for a vote again — and the Republicans blocked it.
It’s not just disappointing, it’s plain wrong. Enough is enough — my Republican colleagues need to stop playing politics and protect our sacred right to vote.
But with Donald Trump and the GOP fundraising machine gearing up to flood the airwaves with lies about so-called election “fraud” ahead of the 2022 midterms, we can only expect more obstruction from Mitch McConnell.
