Hello John, it’s the end of an era. I will be selling our popular campaign RV, the Sioux City Sue. I promise it’s for a good cause!
We’ve been putting our heads together and strategizing how we can effectively organize in rural areas in battleground states ahead of the 2022 election. We're not waiting for the Democratic Party, we must start organizing in rural areas NOW.
We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting a National Rural Strategy Session on Nov. 6th, about one year from the 2022 election. We believe this will be the first of its kind connecting rural grassroots groups. We plan to have over 100 progressive political strategists, organizers, activists, candidates and elected officials, including rural representatives from all battleground states.
So, I bet you’re wondering how the Sioux City Sue plays into this? Well, we’ll be using the proceeds from the sale to give out grants to local rural organizations that are working to build the progressive brand and improve Democratic performance outside major metro areas, especially in battleground states and districts.

We’d love for you to attend the National Rural Strategy Session and weigh in with your thoughts about how we can best organize in rural areas. And if you know of a group in your community that is doing rural organizing, please let us know and we’ll send them an invite to attend.
The big goal of this summit is to start connecting with like minded rural organizers doing important work on the ground and figure out ways we can support that work.
Hope you can make it!
