In the latest round of “compromises” to the Build Back Better plan, they’ve stripped out free community college, eliminated the child tax credit after 1 year, and gutted home health care.

John, $3.5 trillion was already the compromise. I don’t know if Joe Manchin doesn’t get it, or he just doesn’t care. But I do know we can’t continue this way.

We urgently need to elect more progressives who have lived with the struggles working families are facing today and will fight for us.

Brand New Congress has 20 progressives on the ballot this year, including Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick whose special election is happening right now in FL-20.
