Joyce just stepped on stage for her first debate with our opponent. She is ready to outline her record of accomplishments for Manchester over the last 4 years, and defend Manchester against baseless attacks.

The debate’s just about to start, but we already know what our opponent is going to say - it’s the same broken record she played two years ago. She’s going to lie about Joyce’s record, ignore the fact that crime is down (and say the opposite is true), and tell taxpayers that Joyce is wasting the city’s budget. You and I know none of this is true. But it’s up to us to make sure that Joyce has the resources to set the record straight after the debate.

I’m not worried about what happens inside the room. Joyce knows the issues inside and out, and she’ll rebut every distortion and falsehood.

I’m worried about what happens after the debate, when the lights go out and the candidates walk off stage. Will our campaign have the funds to be on TV, send the mailers, and knock the doors necessary to correct the record? Honestly, only if you help us by stepping up and making a $10, $25, or $50 contribution.
