This Fall, we set a goal of focusing our organizing efforts on four key
Congressional districts where we have the best chance of securing new
cosponsors on the Medicare for All Act.

We believe that with the full weight of our national movement and with
folks pitching in across the country, we can move one or more of these
four representatives to sign on. 

Our mission is simple: To contact as many Medicare for All supporters in
these four key districts as possible and urge them to contact their
representative and join the car caravan near them for our upcoming
National Day of Action.

Can we count on you to join a phone bank on [ [link removed] ]Saturday, October 30th
and/or [ [link removed] ]Monday, November 1st to talk one-on-one with supporters in these
key districts to get them involved? 

Plus, our Saturday phone bank will be Halloween themed! (Costumes
optional, but encouraged):

Here are the four districts we’ll be calling and the member of Congress in
each: 

* Congressman John Garamendi, CA-03 (Sacramento)
* Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, OH-03 (Columbus)
* Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, TX-15 (San Antonio)
* Congressman Albio Sires, NJ-08 (Newark)

If just one of these members of Congress signs on to the bill, we’ll pass
an important symbolic milestone: more cosponsors on Medicare for All than
we had in the last session of Congress when the Democratic majority was
much larger. But we need your help.

These phone banks are part of the lead up to our national Day of Action on
November 6th when Medicare for All supporters in each of the four
districts will organize massive car caravans that include starting or
ending at the office of each member of Congress. It’s our job to recruit
as many people to attend as possible.

These phone banks will be an opportunity to connect with voters 1-on-1 who
we know are in support of Medicare for All.
