India Walton is on pace to make history as the first woman elected as Mayor of Buffalo, New York.
India is a nurse, community activist, and mother who had the courage to challenge a 16-year incumbent. Many counted her out, but she won her primary in a historic upset (not unlike Alexandria’s historic primary win in 2018) with a bold, progressive vision. Now she’s headed to the general election on November 2 – just thirteen days away.
No matter where you live, you have the chance to help secure India’s victory and help elect a leader who will put working families first, create new green jobs, fight for affordable housing, and so much more.
Early voting begins this Saturday and Alexandria is headed to Buffalo to help kick off early voting and get out the vote. Will you join Alexandria in supporting India by joining a phone bank this week to help get out the vote and kick off early voting?
