John,

The average Philadelphia Public School building is 75 years old. From leaks and water damage, ceiling collapses, building deterioration, lead paint, asbestos, and rodent infestations, the conditions in these buildings pose a danger to students, faculty, and teachers.

Crumbling public school buildings aren't just Philly's problem -- it's a national problem. Dwight's fighting for a $3.5 billion tax credit to rebuild and modernize our public schools, and it needs your support.

If you believe that PPS students, teachers, and faculty deserve safe buildings to succeed, sign on now to support Dwight's infrastructure tax credit.

Philly students -- nearly 75 percent of whom are BIPOC -- are often packed into small, overcrowded classrooms in decades-old buildings that are understaffed and need repair. Their mental and physical health is being compromised, while many peers in wealthier, whiter communities are provided every opportunity to get ahead. This can't go on any longer.

Many of our public schools are housed in historic buildings that, with adequate renovations and updates, could provide the safe learning environment our students deserve. But the longer this problem goes on, the further behind our students could fall, and the more their physical and mental health and safety could be at risk.

We need to make sure that our schools are preparing students for the future, not falling apart. We're asking you to support high-quality public education now. Please sign on to support Dwight's infrastructure tax credit for our public schools.

Thank you,

Team Evans
