Don’t know how to talk to kids about racism and bullying? These videos are the perfect way to guide a conversation with your kids.
Dear Supporter,
We are excited to announce our new video series for children, created in partnership with Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC)andWoori Show, an online educational video series for children that celebrates the Korean-American experience. Together with these partners, we are excited to collaborate in the creation of powerful and reflective materials to empower children in the work of anti-racist action.
After the wake of racist violence and hate crimes against the AAPI community in March 2021, AAPI families and allies in the U.S. might be searching for tools to help their children understand this problem and take action. We have created a series of animated videos for kids ages 3 to 10 that teach them how to respond constructively to bullying and racism. Using catchy music and lyrics, the videos adapt Hollaback’s 5D’s methodology (Distract, Delegate, Document, Delay, Direct) to offer concrete and empowering intervention strategies.
