Today, I plan to cast a vote in the Senate as important as democracy itself.

I am proud to support and will be voting in favor of the Freedom to Vote Act — because you deserve to have your voice heard, counted, and protected.

The Freedom to Vote Act will expand access to the ballot box, end partisan gerrymandering, stop dark money, and limit the influence of special interest money in politics. Passing this bill means a more representative democracy, and if enacted, will be the most significant anti-corruption and voting rights bill in generations.

Join me in supporting the Freedom to Vote Act by signing our petition so that billionaires can’t buy our elections, and everyone can have the freedom to make their voices heard.

Voting rights across the country are under attack as Republican-controlled state legislatures pass bills that actively rig the system to make it harder for people to vote — particularly voters of color.

But the common sense reforms in the Freedom to Vote Act will ensure that we have safe, transparent elections and that everyone has the same rights and access to the ballot box, no matter their background or their ZIP code.
