** Enter for a chance to win all 27 volumes of Kierkegaard's work
------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Friend,

I am excited to connect with you and am thrilled to share an invitation to an upcoming online reading group ([link removed]) exploring the work of Soren Kierkegaard. Since 2008 the Homebrewed Christianity podcast ([link removed]) has been bringing interviews with the best scholars from the ivory tower right to your earbuds. With over 1,200 episodes and 15 million downloads, we have a deep commitment to spreading theological resources, too often trapped in our Seminaries, with theology nerds all over the world.

In anticipation of the class we are giving away the complete Kierkegaard collection ([link removed]) (all 27 volumes). A nerd's dream :)

Soren Kierkegaard, the 19th-century Danish philosopher and theologian, remains a powerful and influential thinker. Be it as the Father of existentialism, critic of Christian Nationalism, or philosopher of paradox, his powerful voice comes as a challenge to our time. Do you try to be a Christian, but find church really difficult? Do you try to live faithfully, but wrestle with embracing risk? Do you find yourself thinking a lot about who you are becoming? The possibility of a Church detangled from Christian Nationalism? If so, then read some Kierkegaard with us ([link removed]) . When we risk getting lost, maybe we can then find faith.

Currently I am on faculty in Religion & Science at the University of Edinburgh and am thrilled to be partnering with philosopher and President of the Kierkegaard Society, Dr. J. Aaron Simmons, for this online reading group ([link removed]) . In hope to lure you to join the philosophical fun, Dr. Simmons and I came up with 5 Reasons the Church Needs Kierkegaard. ([link removed]) You can also hear Simmons on the You Have Permission podcast sharing what we can learn from Kierkegaard. ([link removed]) To check out the class details and join more than 1,200 others in the group, head to iheartkierkegaard.com. ([link removed])

This group is 'pay-what-you-can' (including $0) and you don't have to join live to get the video or audio of each session.

This isn’t the first online class Homebrewed Christianity has put on. Others include I Can’t ([link removed]) Breathe: Black Theology & the Legacy of James Cone ([link removed]) , The Rise of Bonhoeffer: Ethics & Empire in a Post-Truth World, ([link removed]) Ministry in a Secular Age ([link removed]) , and we just wrapped up a class with Diana Butler Bass and Brian McLaren on Christianity 20 years after 9/11 ([link removed]) with over 2,500 members.

I hope you check out the info page for Getting Lost & Finding Faith Walking with Kierkegaard ([link removed]) and consider joining us.

If you are new to the Homebrewed Christianity podcast Christian Century readers may enjoy previous episodes with Willie Jennings ([link removed]) , Sallie McFauge ([link removed]) , Elizabeth Johnson ([link removed]) , Emilie Townes ([link removed]) ,Rev. Jesse Jackson ([link removed]) , Helen Bond ([link removed]) , Alister McGrath ([link removed]) , Reggie Williams ([link removed]) , or Jurgen Moltmann
([link removed]) .

Keep it zesty,

Tripp Fuller
