In a historic vote, the House committee investigating the January 6 insurrection recommended that Steve Bannon be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with subpoenas.
Now, the full House is expected to vote on it Thursday.
We have to send a strong message: Steve Bannon and any other witnesses who try to skirt the law and cover up Donald Trump’s assault on democracy must be prosecuted.
Congress must use all tools at its disposal to uncover the facts behind the deadly attack on the Capitol.
