House letter pushes back on Amazon testimony | Mueller Industries posts profit, revenue gains in Q3 | Insight Enterprises exec to become CEO, president
Five House lawmakers, including House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., have written to Amazon CEO Andy Jassy seeking that the company "provide exculpatory evidence to corroborate the prior testimony and statements on behalf of Amazon" by executives regarding Amazon's use of data from third-party sellers. Amazon has denied misusing such data to create its own products, but recent media reports have indicated otherwise.
Mueller Industries earned $170.98 million in the third quarter, up from $42.70 million in the year-ago period. The company had quarterly revenue of $982.25 million, up from $619.11 million.
