The Misnamed Equal Rights Amendment

The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) died in 1979. But tomorrow, Congress is holding yet another hearing on it. (IWF's Inez Stepman is the sole minority witness testifying.) Earlier this year, Congress voted to resurrect the proposal and shoehorn it into the Constitution without your consent. The ERA would make it illegal to differentiate between the sexes, requiring that the government treat males and females the same—regardless of circumstances or actual differences. Dollar Tree just announced that higher freight costs—one element in rising inflation affecting consumer prices nationwide—are forcing the company to abandon its just-a-buck policy. U.S. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements

The administration recently announced a vaccination mandate for many American companies. But the vaccination policy is inconsistent for different groups, and not “following the science.”

Can you identify which of the following is not true about U.S. COVID-19 vaccination requirements?

A.
Over 80 million workers in the private sector will soon be required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or be subject to weekly testing.
B. Those who legally travel or immigrate to the U.S. are already required or will soon be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to admittance.
C. Those who come to the U.S. illegally through the border are required to provide a negative test, proof of vaccination or proof of vaccination prior to entering the country.
