House leaders have forgotten what the word “infrastructure” means.

The House is back in session and at the top of their agenda is the $3.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill. The massive spending proposal is filled with government-growing measures that are being kept quiet and have nothing related to infrastructure. It is truly about a big expansion of government control and spending on everything from child care to health care to the cars we drive.

Share your thoughts on the infrastructure bill by taking this quick 1-question poll.

** The Misnamed Equal Rights Amendment ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) died in 1979. But tomorrow, Congress is holding yet another hearing on it. (IWF's Inez Stepman is the sole minority witness testifying.) Earlier this year, Congress voted to resurrect the proposal and shoehorn it into the Constitution without your consent. The ERA would make it illegal to differentiate between the sexes ([link removed]) , requiring that the government treat males and females the same—regardless of circumstances or actual differences. The ERA would be a disaster for the women and girls of America. Learn more. ([link removed])

** Inflation Hits the Dollar Stores, It’s a Big Problem ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------

Dollar Tree just announced that higher freight costs ([link removed]) —one element in rising inflation affecting consumer prices nationwide—are forcing the company to abandon its just-a-buck policy. One dollar might not mean much to Washington policymakers who talk about spending trillions, but to many poor and working-class Americans, when you can’t even depend on a dollar store to cost you a dollar, that’s a big problem. Parents should decide what their children are taught, where they will spend their time, and who can care for and teach them... NOT the government. Sign the petition, spread the word in your community, and help stop the government takeover of day care and preschool.

** U.S. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
The administration recently announced a vaccination mandate for many American companies. But the vaccination policy is inconsistent for different groups, and not “following the science.”

Can you identify which of the following is not true about U.S. COVID-19 vaccination requirements?

A.
Over 80 million workers in the private sector will soon be required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or be subject to weekly testing.
B. Those who legally travel or immigrate to the U.S. are already required or will soon be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to admittance.
C. Those who come to the U.S. illegally through the border are required to provide a negative test, proof of vaccination or proof of vaccination prior to entering the country.

American antitrust laws are meant to protect consumers from harm, but Senators Amy Klobuchar and Chuck Grassley's inaccurately dubbed "American Innovation and Choice Online Act" will eliminate the standard of consumer harm, make America less competitive abroad, and shopping less affordable at home.
