McGrath's fundraising is part of a larger trend of Democrats ignoring critical 2019 races in favor of 2020. While it's great to see such strong fundraising from the Democratic Presidential campaigns, and in 2020 Senate races like Kentucky and Arizona, it could cost Democrats winnable races THIS YEAR.

Democrat Greg Stumbo can win this race and deal a serious blow to McConnell's re-election chances, but the polls and history show it'll be CLOSE. In 2015, Democrats won by just 2,201 votes - and with Mitch McConnell going ALL IN, it could be even tighter this year.
