Friend,
In 1972, the state of Montana established one of the most individually empowering constitutions in the United States. It granted citizens the right to participate in public meetings. It guaranteed the right to individual privacy.
It also established our now beloved right to a clean and healthful environment.
Our state is blessed with beautiful natural landscapes, and Montanans cherish them. National Parks like Yellowstone and Glacier inspire wonder and joy. They have shaped my life, the lives of my children, and those of generations of Montanans.
It's critical that we protect our public lands, which is why Montanans view Ryan Zinke's utter disregard for them while Secretary of the Interior as such an affront to our values. Zinke put the fossil fuel industry ahead of our public lands at every turn, and is cynically trying to whitewash his record now that he's running for Congress.
Friend, we deserve a representative in Congress who will preserve and expand access to public lands. That is our right as Montanans, and it’s one I will fight to protect in Congress.
If you're with me, please chip in a contribution of $3 to my campaign for Congress. We need your support: while Ryan Zinke is funded by corporate special interests, we're powered by individual donors who are committed to protecting our way of life.
Thanks for your support,
Cora
