John --

Happy Fall! We hope you are enjoying the transition to the fall season. Here at the Republican Party of Wisconsin, we are continuing to ramp up our efforts ahead of 2022: training and preparing for local elections, working to secure election integrity, working alongside the RNC to staff up our field program, and making sure that we are holding the Democrats accountable.

In addition to the WisGOP Update, we recently launched a new email series, the Weekend Roundup! These approximately biweekly emails highlight the outstanding work that county parties are doing across the state as they host community events and rally the troops ahead of 2022. Make sure to keep an eye out in your inbox!

You can read more about what we’re working on here at the WisGOP below.

- Team WisGOP

Have you ever considered running for public office? As liberals try to impose their ideology on local governments and school boards across the country, the WisGOP is supporting county parties to fight back, including in the Mequon-Thiensville School Board School Board recall election on November 2nd. While Democrats support far-left proposals like critical race theory and mandatory masks in schools, Republicans will always support parent choice. Sign up to get involved to help take back our local governments here, or sign up to run for office here to make sure that we have patriots fighting back against the far-left fringe at every level!

The WisGOP continues to fight for election integrity to ensure that all Wisconsinites can have confidence in the results of our elections. Make sure that you are staying updated on our Election Integrity Dashboard (located here) to read a recap of some of our election integrity efforts and catch up on the latest updates on the election integrity bills put forward by Republicans in the State Legislature.

In case you missed it, last month the Republican Party of Wisconsin filed a complaint against the Minocqua Brewing Company Super PAC with the Federal Elections Commission for a myriad of reporting failures. This complaint is separate and in addition to another filed by the Marathon County GOP. While the Minocqua Brewing Company purports to send 5 percent of their profits to their PAC, they fail to report any such transfer, or to disclose these donors in campaign finance reports. The complaint alleges the Super PAC has also failed to include required disclaimer notices on solicitations for donations, failed to file required reports for an independent expenditure, and unlawfully used corporate funds to provide direct support to federal candidates. Read more from Wisconsin Right Now here.

Mayor Tom Barrett’s budget proposal includes a cut of 25 law enforcement officers at the Milwaukee Police Department. This comes after the city cut 60 and 120 officers over the past two years. Despite the efforts of liberals like Tony Evers, who half-heartedly pretend to support law enforcement while simultaneously failing to stop cities from defunding the police, the fact remains that Democrats will always choose the far-left fringe over public safety.

In Case You Missed It…

Two Years Into Crime Spike, Tony Evers Pretends to Care About Public Safety

Recently Tony Evers dipped into his taxpayer-funded re-election slush fund, pretending to care about public safety by vaguely designating ARPA funds in support of “violence prevention.” After a year of historic crime, with Milwaukee and Madison nearly topping the nation in homicides and Josh Kaul’s botched DOJ crime lab failing in key areas, Evers’ strategy to throw federal money at the problem is too little, too late.

On National Farmers Day, Democrats’ Ag Policies Plant Seeds of Doubt for Rural Voters

The Republican Party of Wisconsin joins the nation in celebrating National Farmers Day as we honor the hardworking men and women in agriculture who feed our country. While Republicans stand up for farmers and rural communities, Democrats seek to dismantle rural Wisconsinites’ way of life — leading to a widespread shift of rural Americans away from the Democrat Party.

Democrats Ring in Crime Prevention Month With Public Safety Failures

This October, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is proud to celebrate Crime Prevention Month as we thank the law enforcement officers and first responders who protect our communities. Meanwhile, Democrats instead protect the “woke” mob, violent criminals, and the far-left fringe — making Wisconsin families less safe. As a result, crime continues to rise in cities like Milwaukee and Madison following the “most deadly year in history.”
