What happens in Virginia’s gubernatorial election in just a few weeks will have major implications for the midterms next year and elections for years to come.

Right now, Democratic Governors are often the last line of defense for our Democracy. As you’re well aware, Republicans are looking to rip away voting rights – with voter suppression bills sitting in nearly every statehouse across the country.
In 27 of those states, especially while the Senate has no courage to act, we will likely see these craven voter suppression bills signed into law. Why? Because Republicans control the Governor mansions in those 27 states, while Democrats only inhabit 23.

Terry’s Trump-endorsed Republican opponent is Glenn Youngkin. He’s proud of the former president's unequivocal support and his supporters even brought a flag flown at the January 6th insurrection to a GOTV rally on his behalf. If he were to win, it would be a disaster for Virginia and the country. Period. Full stop.
