John, I want to talk about why this is one of the most pivotal moments yet to support our movement for fair maps.

The Republican governor of Texas is expected to soon sign a gerrymandered congressional map into law that increases the number of majority-white districts despite 95% of the state’s population growth coming from communities of color -- who now make up close to 60% of the state.

I believe we still can stop power grabs like the one unfolding in Texas -- but only if we engage in the redistricting process now.

This is our moment, but our window to make an impact is closing, which is why I’m asking you:

As conservative map drawers continue to advance manipulated congressional maps, All On The Line is leveraging the power of this grassroots movement by training volunteers to give public testimony and speak up for their communities. With the support of this community, All On The Line is also investing in accountability ad campaigns across the country that help constituents pressure their elected leaders to enact fair maps.

This type of work isn’t just happening in Texas -- All On The Line is fighting on many fronts.

Without notice, Republican map drawers in Georgia released a congressional map that incorporated zero input from the public they serve -- a map that unfairly consolidates historically Black areas and decreases their voting power.
