By now we’re sure you’re aware that Texas has entered a Handmaid’s Tail-Esque era after their Republican-led legislature outlawed abortion after a mere six weeks of pregnancy, putting women across the state in vulnerable and dangerous situations. But did you know abortion laws like these aren’t just in Texas?

Even here in Montana, we’ve seen new laws proposed and signed by a Republican-led legislature and Republican Governor that prohibit abortions in most cases after just 20 weeks of pregnancy.

These laws have dire effects across the state. In particular, these laws will disproportionately affect the most vulnerable populations, including people of color, low-income populations, and those in rural areas who already face difficulties accessing quality healthcare.
