Did you see the news, John? Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan officially announced their re-election campaign this morning!

Our communications team just finalized a media plan to help give them the send-off they need out of the gate, but we need your help to lock in another $8,000 by the end of the week to execute it.

Thanks to the incredible leadership of Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan, Minnesota is well on its way to emerging from this crisis stronger than ever before. When COVID-19 hit Minnesota, they took swift action to keep our communities safe and followed the science. Their leadership saved countless lives, and their policies – like additional child care options for frontline workers, equitable vaccine distribution, and funding for school catch-up programs – became national models.

Under the Walz-Flanagan administration, Minnesota has seen historic investments in education, taken huge strides in addressing climate change, made progress on police reform, and so much more.

On the other hand, Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan’s opponents are doing everything they can to take us backward to the divisive, fact-free politics of Donald Trump. 

While election officials across the state face an uptick of threats from people who have bought into right-wing conspiracy theories, they doubled down on Trump’s “Big Lie.” Through the height of the pandemic, they shamelessly spread COVID-19 misinformation and put lives at risk. They worked to restrict abortions, make it easier for dangerous people to get guns, and want to take money away from our schools.

John, the 2020 presidential election was a choice between hate and hope, and this election will be the same.
