Election Day is less than 10 days away and we just got some new polling back showing a tight race for the General Assembly. A new poll from VCU showed that 47% of Virginians want Democrats to control the legislature compared to 46% who want Republican control.

Make no mistake about it: these races are going to come down to the wire. In 2017, there were four races decided by fewer than 150 votes and even one that came down to drawing names out of a bowl after it ended in a tie. This year is going to be just as close and we need your help to give Democrats an edge in the final days.

The VCU pollsters put it best when they said, “With every seat in the Virginia General Assembly up for election on Nov. 5, Virginians are almost evenly split when asked which party they would prefer to have control of the state legislature.”
